Richard Wachsman, NCPERS Treasurer, was with the Dallas Fire Department for 41 years, when he retired as a Battalion Chief. He currently serves as a trustee with the Dallas Police and Fire Pension Fund and has been extensively involved with the Police and Fire Pension System for over 20 years. He is a member of TEXPERS and the Texas Fire Fighters Pension Commission. Mr. Wachsman has been a speaker at various pension conferences. Mr. Wachsman has served on several key NCPERS committees over the past ten years. Richard serves on the Investment, Budget, Elections, Credentials and Program Committees.
