NCPERS Offers Two Regular Publications Exclusively to Its Members

1. Legislative Newsletter-Published monthly, The Monitor contains up to date information on federal legislation and regulatory issues affecting public retirement plans and information about what's happening in the 50 states. The Monitor also contains a detailed summary of the annual Legislative Conference presentations by members of Congress, their staffs and key staff from the Treasury Department and IRS.

In addition, the NCPERS website contains updated information on legislative and regulatory issues, links to detailed information about these issues that impact public pension plans.

2. Educational Journal-Published quarterly, Persist contains educational articles vital issues of concern to pension trustees and administrators, such as investment and benefit reports, legal issues, and trustee continuing education. Each year after the annual conference, there is a detailed summary of the conference presentations in the summer issue of Persist.
