NCPERS Sends Letter to Congress on Economic Stimulus NCPERS recently sent a letter to every member of the House and Senate to express the organization’s views on a second economic stimulus package. The letter voiced support for a new stimulus package and encouraged Congress look to public plans as a model for retirement security. The letter also asked that NCPERS be viewed as a resource as congress considers new efforts to reform the economic system and the federal agencies that regulate them.
