Douglas County, Colorado, County Attorney
The County Attorney serves as legal counsel to the Board of County Commissioners in addition to providing counsel and overseeing legal services to County elected officials, the County Manager, department and division heads, and appointed commissions, boards, and committees. With responsibility for managing the County Attorney's office of 16 FTE and a budget of $2.6 million, the County Attorney has direct supervisory responsibility for 6 FTE including a Deputy County Attorney, a Managing County Attorney, and four Assistant County Attorneys.

The hiring range for this position is $163,000 – $240,000. Compensation is negotiable depending on the experience and qualifications of the chosen candidate. The position is open until filled with first review of resumes on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions, General Manager

The General Manager serves as the chief administrative officer of the Fund. Under the direction of the Board of Commissioners, the General Manager directs the daily internal operations and benefits administration of LAFPP. The General Manager will be responsible for leadership, administration, and management of LAFPP with Board delegation of authority. The General Manager will oversee an operating budget of approximately $1.7 billion and a total staff complement of 128.

Policemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago, Executive Director

The Executive Director is the lead administrator of the Fund, overseeing a current staff of approximately 20 employees, and is retained by the Board to manage the Fund's day to day business operations.  The Executive Director also coordinates all external service providers, including but not limited to, Actuarial Consultants, Investment Consultants, Custodial Banking and Investment Management providers. The Executive Director will be the main point of contact for the public and will represent the Board and its membership at legislative hearings, city council appearances, quarterly retirement seminars, and other tasks deemed necessary by the Board.

San Joaquin County, County Counsel

The County is seeking a resourceful and experienced lawyer with a proven track record of providing solid legal expertise to the county board of supervisors, elected officials and county departments.

Education: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law
Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in a California County Counsel's Office, California City Attorney's Office, or other California governmental civil law practice. Experience in either private or public law must have included leadership, supervision, or management of other attorneys.
Special Requirement: Active membership in the California State Bar.
 
The annual salary range for this position is $230,417 - $280,073.
