We are pleased to assist Our client, the Baltimore City Fire and Police Employees' Retirement System (BCFPERS or the System) in finding their next Executive Director. BCFPERS is the administrator of a single employer defined benefit local government retirement plan. The System provides normal monthly retirement benefits as well as death and disability payments. BCFPERS is a component unit of the City of Baltimore. As of June 30, 2022, the System held assets under management of $2.96B.
The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer and reports directly to the Board. The Executive Director manages the day-to-day operations of the System, including administration of benefits. The role effectively manages all funds, makes sound investment decisions and collaborates with strategic partners, service providers, stakeholders. The Executive Director leads a current staff complement of 30, composed of 25 full-time employees and 5 contractors.

CalPERS is seeking a talented, energetic leader to become the Division Chief of the Disability and Survivor Benefits Division. Under the administrative direction of the Deputy Executive Officer, Customer Services and Support Branch, the Division Chief has full responsibility for the administration of the Disability & Survivor Benefits Division, which handles all pre and post retirement survivor benefits and disability retirements including education and outreach, benefit determinations, and appeals and hearings to over 1.9 million active members, retirees, survivors and beneficiaries.
This is an incentive eligible position. The incumbent will be eligible for an annual incentive award of up to 15% of salary.

The CalSTRS Financial Services Branch Division is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Financial Accountant I (Supervisor), on the Contributions Team. Under the general supervision of the Contributions Manager, the Financial Accountant I (Supervisor) manages the increasingly complex operational controls and collection processes on contributions for CalSTRS that impact pension and investment accounting activities and decisions. The CalSTRS Audit Services Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Associate Management Auditor on the Internal Audits Team. Under the supervision of the Staff Management Auditor (Supervisor), the incumbent receives on-the-job training in planning, conducting and reporting results of CalSTRS' internal audits. Audit work is performed in accordance with applicable State policies and procedures; the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (ISPPIA); and its Practice Advisories and Code of Ethics. This position requires the ability to work independently under close supervision and on-the-job training to learn to develop audit objectives, conduct preliminary surveys, prepare audit plans, and develop audit programs that achieve audit objectives of specific audits and special projects. City of Cincinnati Retirement System
The City of Cincinnati, is seeking a Retirement Executive Director to lead the Cincinnati Retirement System (CRS). CRS includes a single employer defined benefit Pension Plan for general employees that includes a deferred retirement option program (DROP), and a retiree health care benefits. Combined Pension Trust and OPEB Trust assets are $2.2B. CRS serves approximately 3,000 active members and 4,300 pensioners.
The Retirement Executive Director is appointed by and reports to the City Manager. The Retirement Executive Director is responsible for providing the support and guidance necessary for the Board to discharge its fiduciary responsibilities to plan participants and ensure that CRS administers the complex benefits structure accurately. This role will direct a staff of fourteen through five direct reports.

City of San Diego
The Chief Investment Officer reports to the City Treasurer and is responsible for overseeing the Investments Division for the Department. The Investments Division is responsible for the management of the City's pooled investment fund of approximately $2.8 billion in accordance with the City Treasurer's Investment Policy. The investment portfolios are comprised of fixed-income investment vehicles and are managed to meet near-term cash flow needs; the Division also separately manages the investment of bond proceeds in accordance with the respective indenture agreements.

Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) – State of MN
PERA's Agile Project Owner – Pension Services position exists to manage the implementation of PERA's strategic plans by logically and analytically investigating business systems, identifying options for improving business systems, and bridging the needs of the business with the use of information technology (IT).
- This position will work to effectively create and submit user stories that are impactful to the business users and to perform user acceptance testing when the enhancements are ready for implementation. The incumbent in this position will work in coordination with the other product owners and provide back up support when necessary.
- This position will also serve as a liaison and resource to other PERA staff on technology related issues and ongoing enhancements.
- This position will also work with staff to build and maintain operational reporting requirements.
- This position will primarily be telework, with the occasional need to be on-site and in-office as scheduled or when workload requires.
