National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems

The Voice for Public Pensions

About ACE

The Annual Conference and Exhibition is, quite simply, a comprehensive educational program for the public pension community.

Who Should Attend?

Professionals from all venues of the pension industry, including trustees, administrators and staff, state and local officials, investment and financial consultants, individuals who provide products and services to pension plans, union officers, and regulators from across the United States and Canada.

Pension Fund & Stakeholder Members

For pension system professionals, ACE offers an unparalleled educational experience, including extensive programming and dynamic speakers. Over the course of three days, fast-paced general sessions alternate with highly focused breakout sessions and networking opportunities. This year’s program has been streamlined more than ever to deliver a varied program in three days.

Professionals who want to extend their experience and dig deeper also have the opportunity to participate in NCPERS University. Participants arrive at ACE two days early for immersive programming focused on being an effective trustee. Three distinct programs at different levels make up NCPERS University:

  • The Trustee Educational Seminar (TEDS), aimed at educating new and novice trustees.
  • The Program for Advanced Trustee Studies (PATS), for experienced trustees who want to take a deep dive into two topical issues.
  • The NCPERS Accredited Fiduciary (NAF) Program, a challenging program that culminates in a professional credential.

Service Provider Members

Service provider members who provide a wide range of services to pension systems are an integral part of the conversation at ACE each year. Attending is a highly efficient way for pension systems to check in with their vendors and learn about new service offerings directly from providers.
