Public Safety Conference

The Public Safety Conference is the only national event dedicated to the unique challenges of public safety pension systems. Since 1985, it has provided critical education and insights for those managing the retirement security of police officers, firefighters, and other first responders, who face higher risks, earlier retirements, and distinct pension considerations compared to other public-sector employees. The conference agenda is designed to address these critical issues, covering topics such as investment strategies and plan design for public safety pensions, line-of-duty death and disability benefits, crisis leadership and emergency management, managing stress, trauma, and mental health benefits, and the impact of public policy and legislative updates.
