Andrew Pataky

Andy is responsible for institutional marketing and client service at Mesirow Financial. Previously, Andy served as research analyst for Mesirow Financial Investment Management, Inc. and prior to that, at Lunn Partners Asset Management. His responsibilities focused on the fundamental and quantitative research of various companies and industries for the firm's large, small and micro cap value portfolios. Andy serves on the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association's ("IPPFA") Education Committee and teaches a 4-hour "Fundamentals of Equity Investing" class in the IPPFA's Certified Trustee Program.

Andy earned a Master's of Business Administration degree with distinction from DePaul University with a concentration in finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Northern Illinois University. Andy is the Vice-Chair for BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding and Educational Center, a non-profit organization that utilizes therapeutic horseback riding to help rebuild the confidence and self-esteem of people coping with physical, mental and emotional changes.
