Baron Capital Management, Inc. (“BCM") was founded in 1982 and is an SEC-registered investment adviser to separately managed accounts, two offshore funds, a wrap account, and a fund of funds.

BCM’s affiliates are:
BAMCO, Inc. (“BAMCO”), Adviser to Baron Funds ®, Baron Collective Investment Funds, and sub-advised portfolios; and Baron Capital, Inc. (“BCI”), a limited-purpose broker-dealer that distributes Baron Funds®
BAMCO was founded in 1987 and BCI was founded in 1982. Baron Capital Group, Inc. (“BCG”) was incorporated in 1984 and is the parent holding company of BAMCO, BCI, and BCM. Baron is 100% privately held.

Firm history
The Firm was founded by Ron Baron as an equity research and investment management firm. Research has remained core to our asset management business. We have managed assets for separately managed accounts since 1983 and mutual funds since 1987.
