NCPERS Surveys
NCPERS conducts two annual surveys to aid in public pension benchmarking and performance evaluation: The Public Pension Compensation Survey compares compensation and benefits packages against their peers, while the Public Retirement Systems Study tracks fiscal, operational, and business practices.
Pension Fund Roundtables
NCPERS regularly hosts CEO, CIO, Communications, HR, Member Services, and Government Affairs/Advocacy Roundtables to bring together public pension professionals via Zoom to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss timely topics with peers and colleagues from around the country. ASOP 4 Toolkit: Measuring Pension Obligations & LDROM
As part of the 2023 revisions to ASOP 4, the Actuarial Standards Board now requires a new disclosure, LDROM, that will affect future actuarial valuations. This toolkit is an essential resource for pension funds to educate policymakers and others on the best use of this new disclosure to help avoid misunderstandings concerning pension funding.
