How to Participate in the 2026 Public Pension Compensation Survey
Mark your calendars: It’s almost time to participate in the 2026 Public Pension Compensation Survey!
Conducted annually by NCPERS and CBIZ, the survey captures compensation data on over 90 common positions found at public pension funds, as well as details on benefits, fund oversight, salary increase planning, and bonuses.
Why Participate: Your organization will receive complimentary access to the survey data to help benchmark your compensation and benefits packages against peers. Funds that do not participate may purchase the results for $2,500 (NCPERS nonmember rate).

How to Participate: Your organization’s dedicated survey contact will receive an email invitation from research@ncpers.org with detailed information on how to participate in the survey on Tuesday, April 7th. Please be sure to mark research@ncpers.org as a safe sender and note that the deadline to complete the survey will be May 12th.

We will also host an informational webinar on April 7th at 2:00pm ET to review the survey instrument and answer any questions you may have. If you are unable to attend, the CBIZ and NCPERS teams can offer further assistance. Please register here to save your spot.
