NCPERS Marks 85 Years with Bold New Vision: Launches NCPERS 2.0 and Redesigned Website

WASHINGTON, Jan. 20, 2026  NCPERS, the largest association for public pensions, today announced a transformative initiative to celebrate its 85th anniversary: NCPERS 2.0. This milestone reflects the organization’s commitment to bold leadership, innovation and excellence in advancing secure retirements for millions of public servants.

“Since our founding in 1941, our mission has remained steadfast: to protect and expand pension access,” said Hank Kim, chief executive officer of NCPERS. “But as the world evolves, so must we. NCPERS 2.0 is more than a new look — it’s a complete reimagining of how we serve our members and the public pension community.” 

Introducing NCPERS 2.0

The rebrand introduces a modern identity and a redesigned website (www.ncpers.org) that delivers a streamlined, intuitive experience for members. The new platform offers:

  • Simplified navigation: Quickly find resources, register for events, and access member benefits with fewer clicks.
  • Centralized tools: A single hub for education, advocacy, and research, putting actionable insights at your fingertips.
  • Enhanced networking: New features make it easier to connect with peers online, join virtual roundtables, and build relationships across the public pension community.
  • Interactive experience: Responsive design and dynamic content create a more engaging way to learn and share. 

To showcase these enhancements, NCPERS will host a webinar Jan. 21, “Introducing NCPERS 2.0: What’s New and What’s Ahead,” featuring a guided tour and Q&A. 

A Modern Identity for a Modern Mission

The rebrand introduces a new logo and visual identity that unite NCPERS’ legacy with its forward-thinking approach. The new logo’s arch symbolizes a bridge between past and future — a gateway to connection, education, and trusted solutions.

Paired with the tagline “Serving Public Pensions Since 1941,” the design honors NCPERS’ history with a nod to the capitol dome while signaling its commitment to innovation. The refreshed color palette conveys trust, growth, and inclusivity, while clean, modern typography and candid photography reflect the organization’s welcoming, human-centered ethos.
