A Smarter, Easier Way to Connect With Your Member Benefits

We have redesigned  the NCPERS website with you in mind. Our refreshed online home makes it easier for members to navigate, access their member benefits, and connect with the tools and resources that matter most to your work in public pensions.

Current members will need to take a few quick steps—outlined below—to activate their NCPERS account. Organizations interested in joining our community can also explore membership options and learn how to get involved.

Existing Members: Let’s Get You Set Up

In order to get the most out of your NCPERS member experience, you will need to create a new login. Your previous username and password will no longer work on our updated website.

To create your new login, follow the step-by-step instructions in this guide: How to Create an NCPERS Account

  • If you’re already in our system, you will need to activate your account for the new platform.
  • If you have never had an online account at NCPERS, you will be prompted to create a new account.
  • Either way, you will be asked to verify your email by clicking on the link sent to your inbox.

We'd love to hear from you! Share any feedback about your experience with the new NCPERS' website using this short online form

Your Member Compass

Once you've created your new login, you'll be taken to the Member Compass—a personalized dashboard for managing your NCPERS profile and accessing benefits.

To update your NCPERS profile, see this guide: How to Use Your Member Compass

  • Be sure to review and update your profile! We transferred almost a decade of data, so please ensure your contact information, title, and other details are up to date.
  • Information from your profile (name, title, etc.) will appear in the NCPERS Member Directory (login required). You can always change your privacy settings through the Member Compass.
  • Coming Soon: Your past engagement with NCPERS events and education credits will be added to your Event History in the coming weeks. Thanks for your patience as we get your complete engagement history imported!

Tip: You can access your Member Compass from anywhere on the site by simply clicking your name in the upper right-hand corner.
