New Research: Public Pensions & Economic Impact
When policymakers consider reducing pension benefits or closing pension plans, they are typically unaware of the positive impacts to economic activity that pensions deliver to their community. NCPERS recently released a new report that provides a data-driven analysis of how public pensions support state and local economies, having generated over $660 billion in tax revenues in 2023.

Pension Plan Professionals: Have You Joined a Virtual Roundtable?
NCPERS hosts regular, one-hour virtual roundtables for pension plan professional staff to connect with their peers. Hundreds of our plan members are joining these calls to share intel and crowd-source solutions to common challenges.
